Former Academy Student Olivia Zamarripa Goes Low at Collegiate Level

We are proud to spotlight former student of The Golf Performance Academy, Olivia Zamarripa, on her phenomenal recent success with the Embry-Riddle (AZ) women’s golf team.

At the Northwest Iowa National Invitational (September 15-16, 2025, at Willow Creek Golf Course in Le Mars, Iowa), Olivia delivered a career-defining performance that included the lowest single round of the event.

Representing the Eagles, Olivia finished tied for 6th overall out of 42 players. Her scores for the three-round tournament were 71-77-65. The seven-under 65 she fired in Round 3 was not only the lowest final round but also the lowest round carded by any competitor over the course of the entire 54-hole event. Her consistently strong play was highlighted by an impressive tournament total of 14 birdies and an eagle. Her performance helped propel the Eagles to a strong Runner-Up team finish.

Olivia’s journey from The Golf Performance Academy to collegiate competition reflects the core philosophy we instill in our athletes: develop all facets of the game and rise to meet new challenges. We celebrate her incredible accomplishment and look forward to watching her continued growth and success on the course as a key member of the Embry-Riddle women’s golf program.
